The only error in grammar I can find is when I say, "because each person's internal resonances are different, shaped by their different life stories", which technically should be "shaped by his life story" because "each person" is singular (e.g. "everyone should bring his book to the assembly") (or "shaped by his or her life story" if I wanted my writing to be clunky/politically correct)
